iCore welcomes Jonas and Rasmus
iCore's Service Center helps our customers every day with everything from incident management to changes in integration solutions. Now the department is being reinforced by Jonas Rajaniemi and Rasmus Eiderström Swahn.
Jonas and Rasmus will, among other things, support iCore's consultants in development, perform routine checks, receive support cases, handle incident management and carry out changes in integration solutions according to the customers' needs and wishes. Together with Karin Bui Källkvist (Service Center Lead), Hans Wallinder and Mattias Hansson, the support department will now be able to provide even better and faster support to iCore's customers and partners.
Welcome Jonas and Rasmus, how come you started at iCore?
Jonas: I just graduated in systems science and want to enter the industry. Here I get the opportunity to do exactly what I studied for and am interested in, such as working with SQL, .NET environments and system architectures.
Rasmus: I actually got the tip from iCore CEO Mikael Boqvist's daughter, with whom I worked at internet.se, a web hosting company. The position felt completely "up my alley", I have worked with SQL and support, and have a spare time interest in programming in .NET. So the service feels both fun and challenging.
What is important to consider when supporting integration?
Jonas: To have an overall understanding at all times, how the customer's processes look and how the components are important building blocks, and then in an educational way to be able to explain to the customer why the architecture looks the way it does.
Rasmus: The holistic understanding means that we can troubleshoot quickly, efficiently and safely for the customer, in order to give them help in the best way.
What do you hope to bring to iCore?
Jonas: I will be like a sponge, ready to implement the theory I learned in practice. Hopefully I can also contribute with some new perspectives and an experience of working with business systems and data management.
Rasmus: Much of my previous work has concerned the backend, not so much business systems. Already now I feel a greater understanding of how businesses function technically. I think that helps me in my work to understand the clients' challenges, and I love problem solving.
