Developer
In the Developer course, you will learn how to use the Script development tool in iCore Integration Suite to implement process flows adapted to your business needs.
Scope of the course
Three days of on-site training.
Prerequisites
The course requires that you have completed the Integration Designer course and that you have basic knowledge of XML, XML schemas and the Microsoft .Net framework.
Course content
You will learn to:
- Create and run a standard iCore script.
- Create a script to parse the contents of an XML file and write some of the contents to the iCore log.
- Use the Script Code Generation Tool to create a script that can translate an XML file into an intermediate format.
- Create a structure definition script that can be used to parse flat files.
- Enrich a message with data from different sources (for example, a business partner or a product database).
- Using our recommended system configuration and naming conventions, including package, service, authentication, and database settings (iCore Implementation guidelines).
- Apply naming conventions for Script variables and objects, nodes, and node filters.
The course includes a course compendium for in-depth studies.
